Girls Basketball: Our girls are still in the game! They beat Woodson High School on Tuesday and West Potomac HS on Thursday. Our girls play at 6:00 PM at Fairfax HS, this Saturday, February 29. Come out and support our Lady Eagles!

Girls Basketball did it again!
Congratulations to our Girls Basketball team who beat Western Branch last night and advanced to the State CHAMPIONSHIP!!! The championship game will be in Richmond on Saturday, March 14 at VCU 11:00 AM. You can stream the game for $10.00 at www.nfhsnetwork.com. Congratulate our Amazing Eagles!

Global classrooms provide students with opportunities to collaborate on authentic tasks with peers from around the world on global challenges, while increasing content knowledge and developing Portrait of a Graduate skills.
Our Global STEM Challenges Program is a three-year program within our school designed for students interested in learning through solving world problems.

In 2015, FCPS received a $50,000 High School Innovation Planning Grant from the VDOE to start the GSCP. Grants were offered to schools that proposed bold, innovative programs aimed at building the 21st Century Workforce. GSCP is a three-year interdisciplinary program in which students engage in problem-based challenges connected to the real world, and are designed to teach concepts in math, science, and engineering. Students enrolled in the program are part of a cohort that operates as a smaller learning community within Edison High School.
