Our Mission
Our mission is to promote the success of all students through the delivery of a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate program that supports and maximizes student achievement academically, personally/socially, in post-secondary planning and career development. We work with parents, faculty, students, and community to create an environment that fosters personal responsibility, values learning, and embraces cultural diversity to prepare 21st Century learners and citizens.
RAMP
In 2018, Edison High School Students Services met the criteria to become a Recognized ASCA (Americal School Counselor Association) Model Program. The RAMP designation, awarded for aligning with the criteria in the ASCA National Model, recognizes schools that are committed to delivering a comprehensive data-driven school counseling program and an exemplary educational environment. This designation is held for five years and had been awarded to 47 schools in the state of Virginia and approximately 350 schools nationwide.
