The process for obtaining school transcripts
The Edison High School transcript secretary is available Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., to answer any questions regarding transcripts. She is located in Student Services and can be reached at 703-924-8006. Transcript request forms may be mailed to the school or turned in at the Main Office or Student Services during school hours.
This form is used for former students who have graduated within 5 years.
Students who have been graduated from Edison for more than 5 years will need to request their transcripts from the FCPS Central Office Transcript website.
Graduates who completed IB coursework and exams can request for their IB transcripts to be sent to institutions directly by placing a request through rrs.ibo.org. A fee ($17) will be charged by IB. If you have not graduated from Edison High School yet, you should contact the Diploma Programme coordinator to submit a request on your behalf.
If your chosen institution opted to receive IB transcripts via a secure IB website, they will receive yours as soon as results are released (5 July of the examination year) or for alumni, as soon as the IB has processed your order. Otherwise, they will be mailed a paper transcript. Please note due to the volume of requests received during the peak months of December and January and July through September, transcript requests may take longer to process.
Please note that you must select Thomas Alva Edison High School – 001066 in the IB details section in order to proper process your transcript request.
Additional assistance with IB transcript requests can be made by contacting the IB DP Coordinator.
